Which country is this?
93% of Americans can't name the country from three cities.
There are a whole lot of countries in the world -- at last count, there are 195 countries in the world (193 of which are members of the United Nations, all but the Holy See and Palestine), and more get added from time to time. Given that there are so many countries, it's not surprising there would be a ton of international cities split between them. You may have heard of a lot of these cities -- it's kind of impossible not to know names like London, Paris, New York City, Mexico City, Tokyo, Panama City, and Sydney, to name just a few. But how many of those cities can you match to their country of origin? Which country is home to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yekaterinburg? How about Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Salvador? Or Addis Ababa, Mekele, and Dire Dawa? Or even Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague?
So how well do you think you can identify countries given only three cities as clues? You probably won't do as well as you think you will; people are rarely as smart about these things as they think they are. Think you can prove us wrong? Take our quiz and find out!
