The U.S. has nothing on these weirdos
If you've ever taken the subway, you'll know that it can be a real headache sometimes. In addition to delays and manspreaders, there are stinky lunches and crying babies and randos playing the accordion without any warning or explanation. But the subway can also be a land of great beauty. In those rare times when you've looked up from your book or stopped pretending to sleep, you've probably checked out the people around you and realized that the subway is an opportunity for people-watching of the highest order. Everywhere you look on the subway, there's either an attractive rando with an appealing outfit or a bonafide weirdo failing to engage in normal human behavior.
However, you may be surprised to learn that the United States' major subway systems are still small potatoes compared to the hilarious disaster that is the London Underground, a.k.a. "The Tube." For some reason, the denizens of the London Underground go above and beyond in their quests to wear the wackiest outfits and fall asleep in the most compromising positions. For proof, just check out these 31 subway fails from the London Underground, which were all originally documented by the popular Instagram account "People on the Underground."
